Healing Funds

Because every self-fulfilled prophet has their finances in order.

The Fifteen Fund

In the divination system of tarot, card #15 is The Devil. The Devil card is about temptation, being enslaved by internal or external forces, and excess. On the positive/redemptive end (since all cards have both light and shadow symbolic meanings), it is about playfulness. The 15 Fund, then, is to help us convert temptation and traps for self-betrayal into opportunities to commit to your independence, self-esteem, self-discipline, and freedom.

Here’s how to play:

1) Identify something you feel tempted/compelled to buy, but know you shouldn’t.

2) Figure out what spell, hook, chains, or strings this thing has you under or attached with. Some popular ones include: time pressure, scarcity, exclusivity, taps into a fear you have, taps into a dream you have, is a form of punishment avoidance/defense from something else, causes trauma or puts you in a flashback to trauma, triggers an addiction, creates a feeling of pampering/treating yourself, or promises to make you rich, popular, beautiful, or successful. It’s usually a combination of several of these if you find yourself unable to ignore it with your basic abilities of choice and regular self-will.

You can give the thing a new name to describe it’s shadow effect on you.

3) Refuse to give in to temptation/mind control/emotional blackmail/trauma bonding/addiction and DO NOT BUY IT.

4A) If you are struggling to not buy the thing, pay $15 to the 15 Fund instead. That way your introspection and self-examination coupled with actually spending real money can help you get out of this capitalism hell.

4B) If you successfully didn’t buy the thing, and you’d like to (and can afford to) send a small token thanks for the reminder of your ability to be your own best advocate and liberator, you can contribute $15 to the 15 Fund to celebrate your win.

5) If you contributed to the 15 Fund, and want to share your experience of saying “not today Satan” to addiction, evil marketing, and capitalism, you can fill out the 15 Fund (W)Investor Feedback Form.

Micro-Funding Option

If the thing you’re struggling with costs under $15 and/or contributing $15 to the 15 Fund would be effectively cancelling out your financial/psychological/emotional sense of winning, feel free to contribute $1.50 instead. That way you can still participate if you want/it’s helpful to you, while still keeping your financial health in good standing. :D
